A launched coaster replaces the lift with an acceleration section. It removes the climb from the cycle, which shortens the ride time per guest and changes the queue dynamics completely.

Questions buyers ask first

01Is a launch coaster harder to maintain than a lift coaster?

It is different rather than harder. The launch hardware adds a maintenance discipline — power electronics, sensors, brake timing — while removing the lift chain and its wear items.

02How much power does the launch need?

It depends on train mass and target speed, and it is one of the first things we model. The figure is confirmed with your electrical engineer before design freeze.

03Can a launch coaster run in rain?

Operation limits are set with your market standards and confirmed in the operating manual. Launch systems are generally more sensitive to surface conditions than lift coasters, which is a policy decision you set before opening.
