01 / What you're buying

A procurement project,
not a catalogue order

A wheel is the most visible asset a park owns, so the decisions that matter are structural: wind load, foundation, cabin weight and the installation method. Here is how we scope it.

120,000m² manufacturing base
60+ride models in production
24hquotation response
Engineers surveying an empty plot for a new ride
Site firstFootprint, wind exposure and access decide more of the price than the ride model does.
Designers working on a 3D ride model
Then designThe layout is fixed against your plot before any steel is ordered.

02 / Reference builds

Wheels currently in production

Cabin count, glazing, air conditioning and lighting are all configurable.

03 / Scope

What a turnkey contract covers

01

Site & wind study

Design wind speed, exposure and foundation loads agreed before steel is ordered.

02

Structure & cabins

Hub, spokes, rim and cabin design — open, enclosed, themed or air-conditioned.

03

Modular delivery

Container loading plan for compact sites; assembly sequence issued in advance.

04

Erection

Crane plan, erection supervision and alignment checks.

05

Power, lighting & control

Drive system, emergency lowering, lighting scheme and control room layout.

06

Operation & maintenance

Daily check lists, spares package and remote diagnostics.

How a project runs

  1. 01

    Brief

Height target, site wind conditions, passenger throughput, opening date.

  2. 02

    Concept & quote

Wheel size options, cabin configuration and itemised quotation.

  3. 03

    Engineering

Engineers reviewing structural drawings and a CAD model
Engineering Structural calculations, foundation loads and electrical scope agreed before steel is ordered.
Designers working on a 3D track model
Design Layout and ride envelope issued as a 3D model your civil engineer can work from.
Crane lifting a track section high above support columns
Erection Crane plan and erection sequence agreed before the first section leaves the ground.
Technicians loading water dummies for commissioning tests
Testing Static and dynamic testing with weighted dummies, then restraint verification.
Technicians commissioning a ride at dusk
Handover Commissioning run on site, followed by operator training and as-built documents.

05 / Why shortlist us

What buyers actually check

01

Coastal-grade protection

Hot-dip galvanised structure and marine-spec coatings for seaside sites.

02

Cabin engineering

Weight, glazing and HVAC balanced against drive and brake capacity.

03

Compact installation

A 32 m modular wheel ships in 6 containers and installs in about 12 days.

04

Landmark experience

88–103 m observation wheels with 42–49 cabins delivered to operating parks.

Inspector performing ultrasonic testing on a welded joint
Quality control Weld inspection recorded against the joint, not signed off from a desk.
Ride structure fabrication inside the workshop
In-house Track bending, welding and assembly under one roof.
Hot-dip galvanising of ride components
Corrosion Hot-dip galvanising specified for coastal and high-humidity sites.
Ride control room with operator and monitoring screens
Operation Control room layout, fault logging and remote diagnostics handed over with the ride.

06 / Questions

Procurement questions

01How much land does a wheel need?

It depends on height and foundation type. A 42 m wheel needs a compact base; a 100 m+ wheel needs a much larger foundation footprint and a crane assembly area. We issue foundation loads early so your civil engineer can plan.

02Can the wheel run in high winds?

Operation is limited by wind speed, and the structure is designed for a site-specific survival wind speed. Tell us the location and we will specify the design wind speed before quoting.

03How long is installation?

A 32 m modular wheel installs in roughly 12 days; larger site-built wheels take 6–12 weeks depending on crane capacity and weather window.

04Do you supply cabins with air conditioning?

Yes. Enclosed cabins with HVAC are available, but weight and power draw change the drive and structural design — confirm early.
