Overview
The Suspended Roller Coaster is a high-capacity ride with a 780m track and a 32.83m high point. Trains carry 20 riders per cycle, with two seats per car across ten cars. The suspended design lets cars swing outward through turns, giving riders a free-hanging sensation. It suits park developers and investors looking for a medium-thrill coaster that handles steady visitor flow without a large footprint.
Design and build
The ride is engineered for a 16-year design life. The track layout, train configuration and structural design are developed for each project. We do not publish proprietary engineering details such as steel grades or foundation loads; these are shared with qualified buyers under agreement.
- Track length: 780m, with a track height of 32.83m.
- Maximum train speed: 22.33m/s (80.4km/h).
- Lift speed: 2.0m/s for a controlled ascent.
- Ten cars, each seating two riders, for 20 riders per cycle.
- Ride duration: approximately 140 seconds.
- Installed power: 210 kVA.
- Design life: 16 years.
All designs are made to the standards required by your market, confirmed per project.
Site and installation
The ride requires a footprint of 152 x 73m. This includes the station, track envelope and clearances. Site preparation, foundation design and installation planning are handled per project, taking local soil and climate conditions into account. Our team provides layout drawings and technical documentation to support your planning and permitting process.
Installation is carried out by our technicians or by your local contractor under our supervision. We supply assembly instructions, commissioning checks and operator training. The 210 kVA power supply should be confirmed with your electrical engineer during site planning.
Operating notes
Riders must be adults or children at least 1.4m tall. Each car seats two riders. The ride cycle is approximately 140 seconds, including loading and unloading. Daily checks and periodic maintenance are required as set out in the maintenance manual.
Throughput depends on station staffing and dispatch procedures. The 16-year design life assumes the ride is operated and maintained within the specified parameters. Spare parts and technical support are available throughout the life of the ride.
