Overview
The W-Type Dream Flying Car is a fixed roller coaster that combines a W-shaped track with a rotating turntable. Riders sit on the turntable, which rotates while the vehicle travels back and forth along the track. This dual motion creates a dynamic experience for 24 passengers per cycle.
The ride is intended for amusement parks, family entertainment centers, and attractions looking for a compact coaster with interactive movement.
Design and build
The vehicle is driven by a tire friction system that moves it along the track. A separate motor drives the turntable through a slewing ring. The track and turntable are constructed with fiberglass and lighting elements for visual appeal.
- Track height: 9.8 m; riding height: 9.6 m.
- Ride speed: 42 km/h; rotation speed: 10.0 r/min.
- One train and one turntable; total capacity: 24 riders.
- Ride duration: approximately 180 seconds.
Site and installation
The ride requires a footprint of 60 m × 12 m. It is a fixed installation, meaning it is anchored to a foundation. The electrical supply is 3N+PE 380V/220V 50Hz with an installed capacity of 100 kVA. Site preparation, foundation design, and installation are project-specific and should be planned with our engineering team.
Designed to the standards required by your market, confirmed per project.
Operating notes
The ride includes multiple interlock controls for safe operation. These interlocks ensure that the ride cannot start unless safety restraints are closed and locked, air pressure is sufficient, and the vehicle and turntable are in their home positions. Emergency rescue procedures are provided for various scenarios, with evacuation times estimated between 5 and 15 minutes depending on the situation.
Operators should follow the provided manual for daily checks and maintenance. The ride is designed for typical amusement park environments; specific environmental limits are available upon request.
