Overview
The Sky Eagle is a drop tower ride in the flying tower rotating swing series. It combines vertical motion with rotation to create a dynamic experience for riders. With 24 seats and a 180-second run cycle, it is designed for parks that need to move guests efficiently while offering a high-thrill attraction.
Design and build
The ride reaches an equipment height of 40 m and a run height of 26 m. The rotating section has a swing diameter of 16.6 m and an expanded diameter of 21 m. Cabins rotate at 10 rpm and can swing to a maximum angle of 41.2°, adding a swinging motion to the drop. The lifting speed is 0.5 m/s, providing a controlled ascent before the drop. The installed capacity is 98 kVA, and the power supply is 3N+PE 380V/220V 50Hz.
All engineering details are designed to the standards required by your market, confirmed per project.
Site and installation
The Sky Eagle requires a footprint that accommodates the 21 m expanded diameter. The equipment height of 40 m should be considered for clearance and visibility. Installation follows the project-specific foundation and assembly requirements. Power supply must match the specified 3N+PE 380V/220V 50Hz. Site planning should account for queue lines, access paths, and safety zones as per local regulations.
Operating notes
Each cycle lasts 180 seconds, including loading and unloading. With 24 seats, the ride can accommodate groups efficiently. Operators should follow the loading procedures and safety checks outlined in the operations manual. The ride's rotation and swing motions require guests to secure loose items. Regular maintenance and inspections are essential to ensure continued safe operation. Training for staff is provided as part of the project delivery.
