Overview
The 90m Steel Cable-Supported Ferris Wheel is a high-capacity observation ride for large parks and mixed-use developments. It combines a cable-supported wheel with 42 spherical cabins, each seating six passengers, giving a capacity of 252 people per cycle. The ride turns once every 18.2 minutes at a rim speed of about 0.24 m/s, so boarding and alighting are calm and predictable. The total height is 89.6 m, with a running height of 87.7 m and a wheel diameter of 78 m.
Design and build
The structure uses a cable-supported wheel to manage loads and reduce visual mass. The design life is 25 years. Cabins are spherical and arranged around the 86.1 m rotation diameter. The drive system and controls are selected for the site and market, and all engineering details are confirmed during project design. The ride is designed to the standards required by your market, confirmed per project.

Site and installation
The equipment projection is 86 m by 30 m, and the foundation footprint is 41 m by 31 m. These dimensions help planners assess available land and layout. The ride requires a power supply of 3N+PE 380/220V 50Hz, with an installed capacity of 190kVA excluding decorative lighting. Site preparation, foundation design, and installation planning are carried out per project. The foundation and anchor details are confirmed by the project engineer to suit local ground conditions.
Operating notes
At 18.2 minutes per revolution, the ride offers a long observation period with low rim speed. Operators can plan boarding and alighting around the cycle time. The 252-person capacity per cycle supports steady throughput. Power demand is 190kVA excluding lighting, so the electrical supply should be sized accordingly. Maintenance schedules and spare parts planning are set out in the operations manual. Training for operating and maintenance staff is provided as part of project delivery. For procurement, confirm local standards, site conditions, and delivery schedule with the manufacturer.
